  Sayes Court Children's Centre organised a Launch Day to celebrate the role we play in the local community and to try and encourage more parents to make use of the services that we offer.
Sayes Court Children's Centre has been open since September 2009 and during this time we have helped hundreds of families in the area through our weekly sessions, courses, and by providing support and advice.
The Launch Day which took place on Saturday 20th March 2010 was a successful day. The weather was awful, but it did not prevent nearly 500 people attending. Children's favourite Iggle Piggle and Upsy Daisy were thrilled to cut the ribbon to officially open the centre.
The visitors could donate via raffle tickets, food and drink donations. We would like to thank you all as we managed to raise £297 in donations. This money will be used to buy equipment for all the children that use our Children's Centre.
We would like to thank all of our volunteers, without whom we could not have run the day so smoothly.
